Posies

Good to Know

Frequently asked.

Do you provide the alcohol?

+

Posies Bar provides licensed bartending services only. Colorado law requires that all alcohol be purchased and supplied by the client. We'll guide you with a detailed shopping list and quantity recommendations so nothing feels overwhelming.

Do you provide mixers, ice, and garnishes?

+

Yes. We bring all mixers, syrups, juices, garnishes, ice, and bar tools needed for the cocktails on your menu.

How far in advance should we book?

+

Most couples book 6–12 months in advance, especially for peak wedding season. A 30% retainer reserves your date.

Do you travel?

+

Yes. We serve weddings and events across Colorado, including mountain venues. Travel fees may apply outside the Front Range.

What if our guest count changes?

+

Final guest count is due 14 days prior to your event. Adjustments within reason are always accommodated when possible.

Are you licensed and insured?

+

Yes. Posies Bar operates in full compliance with local and state regulations and carries full liability insurance. We work closely with your venue to meet all service requirements.

What kinds of venues can you work with?

+

Because we're a fully mobile bar, we can work with nearly any venue or location — backyards, barns, galleries, private estates, mountain venues and more. We bring everything needed to set up a complete bar wherever you're celebrating.

What if our venue already has a bar built in?

+

No problem at all. If your venue has an existing bar, our staff can simply work behind it instead of bringing in our mobile setup. Just let us know during planning and we'll coordinate directly with the venue.

Can you serve at rooftops or high-rise venues?

+

Yes — we love a great rooftop. For high-rise or upper-floor venues, we'll coordinate logistics in advance to make sure our station, bar, and equipment fit properly through doorways, elevators, and freight access. A quick walkthrough or floor plan helps us plan the smoothest possible load-in.

What about a difficult relative or guest who shouldn't be served?

+

We've worked plenty of events with this exact dynamic and we handle it with discretion. Share names or details with us in advance and our bartenders will quietly decline service or redirect them to non-alcoholic options without making a scene. Your guests won't notice — and neither will the person in question.
